Fall 2012 Cohort
Enrollment Eligibility and Application Instructions
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a CSUN student in good standing or able to provide proof of acceptance to CSUN for Fall 2012
- Completion of DEAF 281 (ASL IV) or equivalent with a grade of B or better
- Recommended completion of courses listed below (but not required):
- DEAF 300 (Advanced ASL Conversation) and
- DEAF 370 (ASL/English Translation)
- Proficiency in ASL is needed in order to successfully/effectively participate
Application Instructions:
Due to a limited number of spaces, students wishing to be considered for acceptance into the IEP program must submit an application for enrollment.
Applications will be available online on the Deaf Studies Department website and in the Deaf Studies office (ED 1107) beginning Friday, February 3, 2012.
Completed applications must be mailed/postmarked by Friday, March 30, 2012. Mailing instructions will be included on the application. Applicants meeting all eligibility requirements will be invited via email to participate in a formal screening to take place at CSUN on Saturday, May 5, 2012 (exact times and room locations to be announced).
