Federal Perkins Loan is a low interest rate loan (5%) available to students with exceptional financial need. Federal Perkins Loan funds are extremely limited. Individual student’s award amounts will vary depending on Federal Limits, student need, and fund availability.

Federal Stafford Loans are low fixed rate loans. Subsidized Staffoard Loans are available to students determined eligible for "need-based" financial aid. Unsubsidized Stafford Loans are available to all students regardless of of income.

The Bookstore Debit Card Loan amount is $300 and is limited to purchasing books and supplies in the Matador Bookstore. There is a $10 service charge that must be repaid. The loan is available to all students, whether you receive financial aid or not.
