Unfortunately, because of the need component for these awards, International Students are not eligible to apply. Please visit our International Student section for other Scholarships.

The selection committee will review applications throughout the month of May and June. Notifications for both recipients and non-recipients will begin near the start of the 2010 Fall semester. Unfortunately, not everyone who applies will receive a scholarship. However, sometimes recipients are not able to accept their awards. The committee will then select an alternate student. For this reason it is important to keep your address updated with the Scholarship Office.
Your Responsibilities as a Scholarship Recipient
- You are required to send a Thank You Letter to your donor. Many of our scholarships are provided by private donors who take an interest in supporting our students. It is common courtesy to respond with a short note to show your appreciation of their commitment to your education. An address to send your Thank You Letter will be provided in your scholarship award. You must bring your letter in a sealed envelope to Bayramian Hall, Room 130. Need help with your Thank You Letter? Please see the Scholarship Help section on right side of this page.
- Your scholarship will NOT be released until the copy of your Thank You Letter to your donor is received.
- If you are unable to meet the conditions of your scholarship, or if your enrollment status changes, notify the Scholarship Office by calling 818-677-4907 or email scholarships@csun.edu
- If you received a CSUN Future Scholars Scholarship last year, be sure to renew your scholarship by submitting a new application. You are only required to file the application-essays and recommendations are not needed. Be sure to send a Thank You Letter to your donor.
